In the late1960s and early
1970s, GO (Government Ontario) Transit used single deck cars for both
locomotive hauled services and some self propelled off-peak
services. An evening in August 1974 at the site of the CPR West Toronto Station. It was normal practice to return the locos of the 3 afternoon Brampton rush hour trains. We see them together with one set of passenger cars speeding along the CNR mainline. The tracks in the foreground are those of the CPR. |
