Train 432 arrives at Kitchener

The Goderich & Exeter Railway took over the CN operations in the Goderich area in April 1992 as part of RailTex and was then absorbed into RailAmerica. Headquarters of the G&E are in Goderich. 

2210 is an GMD GP35 built in June 1964 (serial number A2043). It was built for the Canadian Pacific Railway as CP 8210 and renumbered CP 5010 in 1965. In 1998 it was sold to RaiLink (Lakeland & Waterways division in Alberta) as RLK 5010 and then transferred to Ontario as RLK 2210. In January 2006, it was renumbered 2211.

RLK 2210 assisted by GEXR 4046 & 4019 bring train 432 into Kitchener on Friday April 8th, 2005.
