An unidentified ALe426 motor unit

An unidentified ALe426 motor unit at the rear of a 4-car train headed by ALe506.025 arriving at the high numbered platforms at Venezia S Lucia on Monday late afternoon on September 17^th, 2001.These platforms have no canopies and are very narrow.
I had only recorded the number of one unit in this train as it departed, so I have made some assumptions as follows:
ALe426 units have 84 seats, whereas ALe506 have 98 or 100 (depending on the webpage with specifications on them). Both classes are outwardly identical. I then noticed the "handicapped/disabled/mobility challenged" sign on this unit. If 4 seating bays (16 seats) are used for wheelchairs then that would account for seating difference. This unit has a sign as does the 724 class trailer next to it.
Italian emu/dmu unit numbers used to include seating capacity in the class number. Again assuming a "Half Factor", 84 seats in a ALe426 and 100 in a ALe506 would indicate a logical reason for these class designations. See class ALe506.
