The BOB operate
their own diesel units over the DB trackage south from Munich to
Lenggries, Tegernsee & Bayrischzell. The DMUs are 5 car integral units
rated at 945 kW, 1270 hp, seating 12 1st class & 129 2nd
class passengers. Fitted with hydraulic transmission and a top speed of
140 km/h, 87 mph. VT103 forming train BOB81521 13:34 Lenggries at München on Saturday September 22nd, 2001. This is the front unit coupled to VT102 with train BOB81621 13:34 to Tegernsee. Both units run together until Schaftlach at 14:17 where the train divides. |
