The SOEG (Sächsisch-Oberlausitzer Eisenbahngesellschaft) is a 750mm (29 ½ inch) narrow gauge steam railway which operates trains between Zittau and Bertsdorf with 2 branches to Kurort Oybin & Kurort Jonsdorf.
Steam locomotive 99 758 is a 2-10-2T built in 1933 by Schwartzkoft (builder's number 10149), it was numbered 99 1758 when the line was operated by the DR. The locomotive is fitted with 800mm (31 ½ inch) drivers.

99 758 drifts down the failing gradient at Bertsdorf as it restarts train 207 (13:03 Kurort Oybin to Zittau) on Thursday May 8th, 2003.
