Sunday morning  June 24^th, 2001. 

The Town Palace (Palazzo Comunale) was the last building started in the town square in the second half of 1462. The bell tower was added later at a lower height than the Cathedral bell tower to underline the importance of church power over civil power.

This building presently houses the town hall and municipal government offices.
