StL&H 5651 was built by EMD LaGrange (serial number 72657-23) in November or December 1972. It is a C-C diesel electric of type SD40-2 rated at 3000 hp. 

StL&H 5651 was the 3rd unit in CP train 255 at CN Bayview on Thursday September 21st, 2006.
